Inspiring life-long learners with the confidence to achieve their potential.
West Witney Primary School will be a healthy, happy school which ensures that everyone feels safe to learn, through personalised provision.
Our school will be dynamic and forward looking, by recognising the strengths of our staff and the best use of modern technology.
We will have a school which actively realises the potential of every learner and every learning opportunity. We will ensure that all learning and teaching is informed by best practice, and we will be able to take innovative risks with confidence.
We will develop a range of learning and personal skills in our children which will enable them to be active, think independently and enjoy learning.
We will inspire learning, enabling children to develop a growth mindset and thirst for learning, through a curriculum which reflects global diversity.
We will be at the heart of the local community and at the centre of the education system, helping meet the diverse needs of our learners, with the support of all our stakeholders, especially parents.
Nursery 30 Hour Funding
Ducklings Nursery is open to children the term after they turn three with our intakes in September, January and after the Easter holiday. From September 2017, families meeting certain eligibility criteria will be legally entitled to a funded Early Years place of 30 hours per week. At West Witney Primary School we have registered to offer full-time places (30 hour) and part time (15 hour) places. Your 3- 4 year old will still be entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare even if you are not entitled to the 30 hours.
Take a look at the Admissions Arrangements tab under Parental Information for further details.
